It’s awards season people! Which means it’s the perfect time for trainer Nicole Glor to give us a Red Carpet Workout!

 

Nicole is a former red-carpet publicist, and spent years prepping her clients for big events. But what they really wanted to know about were her personal training secrets.

 

Working out for the Red Carpet, or for any big formal event, requires a lot of work, but Nikki says you can cut that workout time in half if you focus on sculpting the six areas that see the spotlight the most in your dress: the triceps, biceps, shoulders, chest, upper back (for posture) and calves (for short dresses).

 

If you multi-task your toning moves and add some cardio to it, you get a 30-minute workout that slims while you sculpt these critical areas.

 

The moves we did on the show today included:

-Can-Can Dips

-Top Honors

 

After sweating it out, Nikki says you can look even more camera-ready with her dress, accessory, and posing tips designed to make you drop at least 5 pounds in your pictures.

Everyone had fun at one of the most professional and exclusive showrooms in Philadelphia, Showroom 77! Fashion stylist and designers were there to give you the inside scoop on what celebrities are wearing. Riverhead Books and Granta hosted a holiday benefit to support PEN American Center at

the Brooklyn Brewery. Party goers danced to 80’s music and rubbed elbows with Riverhead

authors, but not before they posed on a 7′ x 8′ backdrop and Red Carpet Runway! Props

like reindeer ears, santa beards and elf hats put everyone in the holiday spirit and

made the pictures even more entertaining!

Girls With Gifts, an organization that inspires and empowers young women to develop their talents from a young age, hosted the First Annual Charity Bowling Fundraiser, complete with a Red Carpet Runway. Stars such as Lil Mama, LeToya Luckett, and Rosci were all photographed on the 7′ x 8′ step and repeat before they enjoyed a night of bowling at Lucky Strike in LA. Other celebs such as Estelle, Selita Ebanks and Kevin McCall also came out to raise money to help provide resources and mentors for young, inner-city girls. Interviews with the organizations founders, Antoinetta Hairston and Monique Hobbs also took place on the Red Carpet!

The Natural Color Diamond Association hosted an annual gala to celebrate the launch of their new website and to honor Natural Color Diamond Leaders. Guests sparkled on an 8′ x 10′ Step and Repeat as they walked down the Red Carpet Runway to be photographed. Inside, guests marveled at the jewelry showcase and partook in a silent auction. NCDIA’s new website was the star of the event, along with the nights honorees who showed off their awards on the Red Carpet.
