bodyADDICTS, an online fitness site that’s revolutionizing the industry with its flexible “train anywhere” offering, teamed up with Dr. Oz once again for a day of fitness, food, and fun. The Highway to Health Festival featured a day’s worth of engaging activities designed to educate and entertain fitness-conscious consumers. Attendees participated in health screenings and indulged in nutritious samples from local food vendors. The event also featured fitness demos and competitions, a teen talent contest, cooking challenges, and more. The Highway to Health Festival was held at Pier 17 at Manhattan’s South Street Seaport and included an 8′ x 10′ step and repeat backdrop that was hung up on the festival tent.

So it was my daughter’s 10th birthday this weekend.
 
By which I mean she won’t actually turn 10 until August.
 
But by then she’ll be away at camp for the summer.
 
And since turning 10 is kind of a big deal we decided to celebrate a few months early by throwing her a ‘Stache Bash in the backyard.

This evening was presented by Bowmore, Scotland’s first Islay single malt Scotch whisky, which will elevate an already intense sensory experience to entirely new levels.
