Event Details: Ocean Crest Alliance MPA Fundraiser 2016 was a rousing success as you can “sea”. The “Your Life, Your Legacy, Adopt an MPA” banquet was held at the resort on Palm Island. An “MPA” is a marine protected area that is clearly defined, dedicated and managed through legal or other effective means, to achieve long-term conservation of nature. Ocean Crest Alliance is dedicated to honoring, protecting and restoring the health of the world’s oceans and the life of the Earth’s systems through Conservation, Research, Education, Science, and Technology. Funds raised from the event equally support the ocean conservation organizations. Mission Blue, Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, NOAA and Mote Marine Laboratory.
